MBES Bathymetric Data Processing (MBES-2)
Write your awesome label here.
This trainer-led course is dedicated to multibeam bathymetric data processing using BeamworX software (AutoPatch, GeoHammer, AutoClean) for multibeam echo sounder workflows.
Participants learn how to efficiently pre-process, calibrate, filter, interpolate, and export bathymetric survey data acquired with drone-based MBES systems. Delivered as an interactive live session, the course guides students through end-to-end processing pipelines so they can confidently deliver high-quality, verified bathymetric outputs.
After completing this course, you will be able to:
-
Prepare and review raw MBES survey data in GeoHammer for post-processing
-
Perform accurate patch-test calibration procedures using AutoPatch
-
Navigate the AutoClean interface and configure data processing projects
-
Apply point-cloud filtering methods to clean MBES bathymetric data
-
Utilize grid interpolation techniques to create continuous bathymetric surfaces
-
Export processed bathymetric results into standard industry file formats for client delivery
-
Module 1 – MBES Data Pre-Processing.
Data preparation and review in GeoHammer.
-
Module 2 – Calibration Procedure.
Patch-test calibration procedure using AutoPatch.
-
Module 3 – AutoClean Project Setup.
AutoClean UI overview and project setup.
-
Module 4 – MBES Data Filtering.
