For whom is this course?

This course is designed for beginners seeking to efficiently operate UgCS for various drone operations. It is also essential for those looking to learn how to operate drones equipped with geophysical sensors and to master their flight techniques.

The course provides an explanation of the following:

  • UgCS interface and its full potential
  • Master mission planning, including photogrammetry and area scan for precise data capture
  • Learn how to utilize digital elevation models (DEM) and map overlays
  • How to work offline, so you're always in control, even without internet access
  • Seamlessly connect your drone to different apps, ensuring flexibility and efficiency in every mission

Course duration:

  •  3 hours

Prerequisites:

Trainees are encouraged to possess a minimum of experience in manually operating a drone, including manual take-off and landing procedures.
UgCS and UgCS Mapper should be installed on the PC, trainees should follow the steps in the course on their own PC.
If a DJI drone is used, UgCS Companion mobile app should be installed on the DJI Controller. 

After completing the course, students may apply for a certificate of accomplishment issued by SPH Engineering
