Course overview
This course is the first in the Drone Show Creator learning track. It introduces the learner to the fundamental concepts in creating a drone show and guides them step by step in making their first ready-to-fly animation.

For whom is this course?

This course is designed as the first step for anyone willing to learn how to create drone shows, even if they have never worked with animation software before. 

It is also suited for experienced animators as a targeted introduction to Drone Show Creator and the specific nuances of drone shows, to ensure more specialized and professional results.

The course provides an explanation of the following

  • How to create a drone show from scratch 
  • How to add formation nodes to the timeline
  • How to make transitions by linking nodes together
  • How to work with modifiers to add motion and color effects
  • How to organize work into projects for versioning and sharing
  • How to export the animation as flyable path files

Expected learning outcomes of completing the course

  • The learner conceptually grasps the main building blocks of a drone show animation. 
  • The learner is able to create simple drone shows and export them as ready-to-fly paths.

Prerequisites
